How the Free tier lead limit works

Free

The Free plan gives you the core essentials: AI chat on every page of your website, real-time listing Q&A, lead profiles, and instant email lead notifications, but is limited to 5 leads per month.

What counts as a lead

A lead is counted when a visitor shares their contact details or asks to be contacted – in other words, when Roof AI generates a lead notification.

If a lead (in other words, a unique email address) makes multiple requests, we won't count he additional requessts towards the monthly cap.

What does not count as a lead

The following don’t count toward your 5 lead limit:

  • Visitors who chat but don’t share contact details
  • Simple Q&A conversations that never reach a follow-up moment

When the limit resets

Your lead count resets on the first of every month, regardless of when you signed up. For example, if you signed up on November 20th, your limit resets on December 1st.

What happens when you reach the limit

Once you hit 5 leads, the widget stops appearing on your site for the rest of the month – visitors won't see it and no new leads will be captured until your count resets.

You'll receive an email notification when you're approaching your limit and again when you've reached it.

FAQs

Do repeat leads count twice?
If the same person submits their info multiple times, it may count as multiple leads. If this becomes a concern, contact support and we’ll help you review what’s happening.

Do test leads count?
Yes – if you submit contact details during testing, that counts as a lead.
