What to expect after you set up Roof AI

Once you've completed setup and installed your script, Roof AI runs automatically. Here's exactly what happens and when.

Immediately after setup

You'll land on your assistant settings screen – a summary of your configuration you can return to at any time. This is where your lead notification email, brand color, and install script live. See Managing your assistant settings for a full breakdown.

Within minutes: your install script arrives by email

You'll receive an email containing:

• Your unique script tag
• Step-by-step installation instructions, including videos
• Guidance for common setups – CMS platforms, tag managers, or working with a vendor

If you're not the person who manages your website, forward this email to whoever is.

You'll also receive a sample lead notification email so your team knows exactly what to expect when a lead comes in.

Once your script is live: lead notifications begin

When a visitor shares their contact information or asks to be contacted, a lead notification email is automatically sent to the address you provided during setup. It's designed to be actionable at a glance so you can follow up fast.

Worth doing on day one

Visit one of your listing pages in an incognito window and start a conversation with the assistant to confirm it loads correctly and that a test lead reaches your inbox.

Important note for Free plan users: You may want to skip this test, as conversations count against your 5-lead monthly limit.

Every Monday: your weekly report

Each week you'll receive a report summarizing:

• Visitor activity and engagement
• Leads captured
• Performance trends over time

It's designed to give you a clear view of results without needing to log in – everything you need to know lands in your inbox.
